Eurocucina 2016: Highlights and Kitchen Trends

Eurocucina is one of the most important kitchen trade shows in the world where European kitchen manufacturers gather and share inspirational interior design and furniture trends.

The key elements that stood out at the 2016 event were the perfect style and practicality. The resurgence of a welcoming space ideally suited to bringing family and friends together, greeting guests and reviving companionability in its purest form, bringing together a wealth of finishes and materials to create a kitchen that reflects the widest possible range of tastes and lifestyles, thus making it increasingly elegant and functional.

The choice of materials is particularly demanding – from the warmest species of wood to the most innovative materials (stainless steel; porcelain; and natural stone) or a combination thereof. Another theme at the heart of Eurocucina 2016 was the bringing together of living and kitchen areas: clean lines and stylish details combine for a more sophisticated space that is steadily becoming integrated with elegant living rooms.

Kitchen Innovations supports local ‘Livvi’s Place’

Kitchen Innovations joins the Hume City Council and other local businesses in supporting the build of a ‘Livvi’s Place’ in Craigieburn during September 2016.  Livvi’s Place is a national network of inclusive playspaces initiated by the Perkins Family, following the loss of their baby daughter, Olivia to a rare disease.  Their organisation, Touched by Olivia, aims to create healthier and happier lives for children, with their core focus centres on creating inclusive playspaces across Australia.
